Hi All,
I have a NEC Versa 2405 color laptop computer in excellent condition.
Unfortunately it is a 100 Mhz Pentium and only has 24 Meg of RAM and a maximum
of 40 Meg. I need two 16 Meg sticks for it, used is fine. Please do not send me
an url to go 'see',as I am blind and too many times I can not read the web page
with my screen reading software.
I also need a CD ROM drive, as the one in it currently is intermittent.
The information of both memory and the CD ROM drive follow -
Thanks!

This computer can handle up to 40 mb total. If both
module slots are
to be used, they must both have the same type or size module
( you cannot
mix say 8mb and 16 mb modules)

Standard is 8MB on the motherboard.
2 "RAM Module slots". Each is a DIMM socket that will hold

It sounds like this laptop must presently have either two 8MB
or one 16 MB DIMM module installed in addition to the onboard
memory.
