But the server does not always respond instantly. Sometimes there is a delay of
several seconds before eBay answers. Since there are more than 10 cookies per bid,
the time adds up and you may well miss the end of an auction by a minute or more.
Next time you loose something because your higher bid didn't make it in time,
remember you heard it from me first.
