Too all the good people who answered my plea for an installation disc.
When I first got the printer and realized it didn't have a disc--last
week--I went to the HP web site and downloaded the driver dj349en to
my desk top and then burned it to a CD. I tried it in my IBM Thinkpad
765 running win 98.  Went to add printer, then Have Disc. I got " the
specified location does not contain,etc"  Also tells me to insert the
disc labled "windows 98 2nd edition"  I don't have that disc. I tried brouse. Told it to look in D for dj349en. Same song, same Verse. I then
tried it in a machine with Win ME. Still didn't work. BTW using MS-DOs
"edit" it will print whatever I type! Go figure, I really do thank all
who took the time to e mail me about my problem, Many thanks, 73 t bone
