>From w5jdy in Okla....   Just recently acquired a National SW-54 5 Tube Shortwave Receiver... (still re-inventing the wheel)..  It needed all the paper caps and an electrolyic(they were all bad)the filter was open and the papers were all leaking as bad as 100k ohms...   Works well...  I only received an owners manual and there isn't any alignment info...   I can probably figure most of it out but is the IF freq 455kc.?????.
