Greetings All,


		I would like to Thank All who responded to my request for help and
ideas for a Lafayette KT-340 receiver that I was working on for an older
ham here in town. After the Power supply filter was replaced and a few
other caps the receiver worked but seemed to be lacking in performance.
But after the alignment was done what a changed receiver. The only thing
that this receiver lacks is a good product detector and an Xtal
calibrator. The calibrator will be added as a stand-alone unit, but the
owner does not want to modify the radio. But with the added gain and its
now stabile enough to use the Q-multiplier and the bfo to do a good job.
Once again Thank You to All who responded, as this will help another ham
return to the airwaves.
