[ForSale-Swap] FS: Hallicrafters SX-28 receiver and matching PM-23 speaker

 I am selling a prestine Hallicrafters SX-28 receiver.  Cosmetically
there are no visible scuff marks or dents on the receiver and is in very
clean shape.  The receiver works very good.  It has been alligned,
recapped, and all tubes check out and work good.  I deoxited the
contacts on the switches and tube prongs on each tube.  It produces a
very nice wide and deep audio sound out of it on AM.  I am asking
$500.00 for the receiver.
     The matching PM-23 speaker can produce a nice deep audio sound but
the original speaker inside needs to be reconed.  The paint on the
cabinet of the speaker is in good shape.  No major visible scuff marks
noticed.  There are no noticeable dents or paint chips on the speaker.
The front metal grill has had some corrosion on it but I cleaned some of
that off with deoxit and has been reduced.  I am asking $80.00 for the
speaker.
     An original manual comes with the receiver.
     I prefer pick up only.  I can ship if requested.  Shipping for both
items would be a separate additional fee.  I live in the Chicago metro
area.  I will be attending the Lake County, Illinois Fair Grounds Ham
Fest this Saturday and possibly Sunday the 20th and 21st of this month
if anyone wishes to check out this receiver and speaker.
