 I am selling an RCA AR-88D receiver which I purchased from England, not
long ago.  It was a WW II lend to lease war effort receiver.  It has the
original rare matching black cabinet to go with it.  It cosmetically
looks pretty good with some minor scuff marks here and there around the
cabinet.  Nothing too noticeable.  The front panel looks very good
cosmetically.  There is no S-meter, just the AR-88 logo that lights up.
Nothing is missing from the receiver.  All tubes are present.  It was
powered up on a variac.  It may need some basic maintenance done to it,
like wax capacitors, and filter capacitors being replaced, due to
excessive hum.  I do not have the time to do this basic work.  I am
asking $600.00 for the receiver.  No owners manual included.  I can ship
in a wooden box packed well on a pallet.  There would be no charge for
packing material, just the shipping fee.  I also would accept pick up as
well.  I live in the Chicago metro area.
