Hi all,

Good news, Ham Radio Deluxe v1.0 by  Simon HB9DRV Brown is now available.
Beta testing was carried out by Peter Halpin PE1MHO/G7ECN aided by Henk Pit
PD5DP and members of the Ham Radio Deluxe Yahoo Group.

The program is completely FREE - registration is requested and appreciated
and will enable accessing program updated from HRD.

HRD (Ham Radio Deluxe) is a remarkable new rig control that supports many
radios with more to be added. For support, to keep up on with what is
happening in future development and to share your suggestions etc, join the
HRD group: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ham-radio-deluxe/ Here you will
find a friendly and helpful people to help you
with any problems. The group is moderated, quarrelsome and other sad
individuals are kept in check - only happy smiling faces are permitted
here. :-)

Ham Radio Deluxe v1.0 (build 175) is available for download here:

The download package includes:

- Ham Radio Deluxe - a CAT control program for your radio.
- PSK31 Deluxe - a sophisticated PSK31 program which includes SuperBrowser.
SuperBrowser allows you to monitor up to 40 (!) QSOs at a time - the main
restriction being the available processor's speed.
- Mapper - an amateur radio mapping program which can not only be used for
making your own maps, but which can capture and display Maidenhead Locator
info from the PSK31 Deluxe screen.

Ham Radio Deluxe also supports speech announcements and alarms. You will
need the Microsoft's TTS files installed on your computer. Visit the
Microsoft website to download and install a total of about 8MB (in two
files) for this option if the files are not already
installed.  (You will need both of these files)

WinXP or Win2000 is recommended. Many beta-testers are using Win98 or
Win98se with good results. One poor soul using
