[ForSale-Swap] 455 KHz 500 Hz CW filter For Sale

Hi.
I have a Kenwood YG-455C 455KHz CF 500 Hz CW filter for sale.  The filter
actually says model YG-455C-1, which I understand signifies it is mounted on
a small plug in circuit board.  This one IS NOT on a plug-in circuit board
(Somebody removed it?).  It's my understanding this filter came out of a
Kenwood TS-940.

I bought this to use in My Yaesu FRG-100 receiver, (Connected with short
coax leads).  When I sold the Yaesu FRG-100 I kept the filter as I planned
on putting it in my new Icom IC-718 Xceiver.  However, it's about half an
inch too long to fit in the very tight quarters of that set.  So, my loss is
your gain.

So long as you have the space for it, this filter SHOULD go in most
receivers that use 455KHz filters (FRG-100, AOR, Icom R-71 R-70, Kenwood
R-1000, JRC etc, etc).  The filters in most of these sets are electrically
similar but the "footprints" are different.

FILTER SIZE IN CASE YOU WANT TO CHECK YOUR SPACE IS 2.5 Inches long, 5/16ths
Inches wide, 13/16ths inches high.  HEY, many of the InRad filters don't fit
the circuit board in these radios either and need to be connected with short
coax leads and you get to pay a "premium" price for that "feature" 8^)
