Hi.
Before the end of the month I will 'definitely' be buying an antenna tuner
to go with the Icom 718 I'm buying. While I'd planned on buying a new LDG
Z-100 tuner, I would also SERIOUSLY consider a good used tuner if the price
is "right". Either a manual or automatic tuner and a 150-300 Watt rating
is sufficient.
NOTES:
1. ABSOLUTE maximum "shipped" price 150.00, (don't bother if you need
more). MUCH lower is better as I'm on a tight budget8^)
2. I've had MFJ tuners, they're "ok" if in good condition and the price is
RIGHT.
3. For a manual tuner I like Cross needle meters, though that's NOT
absolutely necessary as I may have a power meter coming in the mail anyway.
4. IF an automatic tuner, MUST either be a "stand-a-lone" unit or designed
to work on Icom radios that accept the Icom AT-180 OR AH-4 tuners.
5. MUST BE IN GOOD CONDITION!
Please describe your tuners features, condition and SHIPPED PRICE to 95348
(California) in your first email. Give me a couple days to evaluate, make a
decision and reply. Thank you.
