[ForSale-Swap] SGC 239 tuner question

Hi.
I've been offered an SGC 239 "Smarttuner" at a fairly reasonable price.  Are
these good automatic tuners or best avoided?  (I know it doesn't look as
"pretty" as some of the others hi hi ).  SGC has always struck me as being
overpriced and have a lot of "hype" in their ads.
