Guess it is not meant to be - but I was going to 'retore the past',
and changing times bring changing priorities. So, I am going to
part with my SX-111 and HT-32. The SX-111 I took down from the
shelf where it has been sitting for quite some time, and plugged
it in. I was pleasantly surprised to find that when comparing it
with my TS-940S - dail-wise it was almost right on. True the
selectivity cannot be compared to the 940, but they did not seem
to be any noticeable difference in the amplitude of the received
signals. Pretty good for such a good old girl. The SX-111 was
paired with my Valiant in the old days, but grew fond of the
HT-32 while stationed up in Washington State, operating one there
while building my Valiant. Anyway, it is time to put them into
the hands of those who would keep them 'glowing' and 'going'. The
HT-32 I have not had on the air. Both units look pretty darn good
for their age - but I do believe that due to the weight of the HT32,
it would be best to pick it up locally, or meet within a reasonable
distance [North of Ligonier PA].
SX-111 $150.00
HT-32 $200.00
[I will throw in a Dow-Key with them]
If any interest, I can take photos of them,
73,
