very good shape.
Very clean inside and out. All original knobs etc.
Superheterodyne set with 9 tubes.
Frequency coverage: LW: 190 - 410 kHz
MW: 560 - 1.55 MHz
SW: 1.55 MHz - 35 MHz
Has AVC, ANL, Bandspread, BFO for SSB and CW.
RF Gain, AF Gain, SEND-RECEIVE switching etc.
Built-in 5" speaker. Cabinet and chassis all in great shape.
Has no rust or grime. Receiver has been recapped and sounds great.

RCA Victor Model 5X3 Tabletop
Shortwave superheterodyne receiver.
This antique radio is in good working condition for its age.
Covers AM broadcast band and shortwave. Dial is a little faded and case could 
use some work if you are a purist.
For everyone else it's just a fun old receiver with built-in rear facing speaker.
It originates from 1936, employs 5 tubes (6A7, 78, 75, 43 and 25Z5), has an IF of 
460 kHz and covers two bands. Schematics and more information are available via
