Looking to do some trading. Here is the deal here: I
picked up a Kenwood TH-F6A triband HT as a demo unit
last week. Still has the warrenty and all that.
Works and looks great. This is a fun HT, but I bought
it mainly to receive 6 meter SSB with. I found that I
need a bigger antenna than is practical (bicycle
mobile) to get it to work well there. WOrks great
everywhere else. Also, the locals are getting off of
222 mhz, and this seems like too much HT to just use
on the local 2 meter machine.
I have the HT, a 8 inch long dual band HT antenna, a
17 inch long dual band HT antenna, the box, the
manual, the charger, and will even throw in a 222
quarter wave mag mount whip, since neither HT antenna
covers 222. I am open to about anything for trading.
I would especially like a FT8900 so I can crossband 6
meter FM to uhf, but would also take an Icom T8A, a
Yaesu VX5R, a radio shack HTX420, a 2 meter monoband
HT, whatever you would like to trade. May even be
persuaded to sell it outright. Let me know what you
have, and lets do some trading.
