[ForSale-Swap] Standard C156A-is it THAT rare??

Just picked up a Standard C156A 2 meter HT on ebay.  I
am starting to wonder if the seller was the only
person to ever buy one of these HTs.  QST reviewed it
and give it a very good review, but there is only 1
review of it on eham.net.  Every aftermarket battery
place does not carry battery packs for this model, and
most of the on-line manual downloads do not have its
manual.

Was the HT that rare?  If so, why.  Looks like a good
HT at a great price.  If you also have one, would
appreciate comments on it.
