[ForSale-Swap] Standard HT question

Just picked up a Standard C156A 2 meter HT on ebay,
and it seems that no companies offer after market
batteries for this HT.  Was this a really rare model? 
DOes anyone know where I can find an AA cell battery
case for the C156A?  Looks like a great HT, would
appreciate any feedback from users on it.
