IBM Model 75 Correcting Selectric typewriter -- Rare transistional
electronic 96 character model, circa 1980, in IBM blue with mechanical
keyboard (feels like a Selectric II) and electronic 7500 character (26
documents + 99 phrases) memory. Good condition, types, but needs a bit
of TLC (new ribbons, oil?) as it has been stored (indoors, clean & dry)
for the last 15 years.

Now why am I offering this on the ham swap?.... Well, I got it with the
thought of using it as a teletype printer long ago... and never got
around to it.

The characters are selected by reed switches driven from the mechanical
keyboard. Just add a few optocouplers across the contacts plus a code
conversion and it will print teletype, ASCII or whatever...

It has a typeahead buffer so, that it will save any characters that are
entered during a carriage return and print them after that opertion.

And you can always use it as a typewriter! :-)

Asking $250 plus shipping, if necessary, naturally.
