Have my spare HW-16.
It's original Heath colors and has been modified to use the CW filter
from the HW10X/SB10X series. Please note, that with the steeper skirts,
and no bypass option, you may not care for a 400Hz, only, filter!
I like it much better than the 2 pole design that came in the thing.

It's clean, it works, it looks pretty good, it comes with a printout of 
the manual from BAMA, unless you want to print your own. Filter mod is 
change matching R's from 3300 to 2200 Ohm, take out old filter, put in 
new, and use one of the old filter xtals for the new BFO xtal. There is 
space to mount the new filter, on the chassis, just next to the old PCB 
mounted one.
