Hi to all, 
        A minor stumbling block on the road to Nirvana...
(I don't think that was a Bob Hope/Bing Crosby movie)
The light source in my scanner has gone sour, but the 
folks at Adaptec are sending me the part via Blue Label
UPS as exchange (It is a 'USB' scanner) so a couple of
days, from now, I can get it back on track. Just wanted
to let you folks know the progress. I am registered with
PayPal(tm) as aar0mi at juno.com for those who still are
waiting to order the CDR.. 
        So far, about 20 copies are ordered/paid for...
ALSO, I am willing to consider, once this project is done,
scanning other Manuals/Tech Orders/Change Orders onto
CDR's as well. It will of course require the physical manual
to do so. (YOU will need to send it to me for it to be scanned.
I Will return it at end of project, and will keep a copy here.
AT SOME POINT in history, I will put on my website the 
electronic copies for download, but that is a ways off for
now. http://www.johnjewkes.com is the site. AGAIN, I
don't have an FTP there YET. I would not mind rivaling
LOGSA or Radio Museum at Ft. Gordon for quality/
Quantity of OLD radio manuals avbailable online..... ;-)
