Have a very nice Kenwood R-599 HF receiver, the twins of the Kenwood world.  Receiver receives great, does not have the 2 or 6 mtr converter installed however. Receives AM/FM/CW/USB/LSB..160 - 10 mtrs., no WARC bands however.  Receiver has good sensitivity and selectivity...  One problem, really an alignment problem, when turning up the volume pretty loud, the receiver will "squawk" back, works fine at normal volumes, have adjusted the gain control somewhat, has improved it but really should be gone through...do have instruction booklet with receiver.  Face plate is excellent, beautiful thick extruded aluminum, dont make them like this anymore.  Asking $150 plus alittle help in shipping from 45211..email me with any questions you have...73  Tim
