Hi to All out there....
I have a Radio, HF, that I need more info to put online as a
work-horse unit for the Main Transceiver in the MARS HF BBS for
Oregon. Have determined it Has 12 Crystals, (mix unknown for now),
Output is 150 Watts into a Dummy Load on Channels 1-4 (all 9 MHz)
and 300 Watts on Channels 5-12 (7 MHz-15 MHz). Need to find the
formula to calculate the 'Mix value' based on printed on case frequency,
vs the real frequency... Yes, I know it's simple, I just can't remember
it
right at hand..... (Something like fm = A / P where fm = the frequency
mixer value , a= actual frequency output / (divided by) P= printed
frequency.... (Is that it?) Must be getting Old, they gray hair is
starting
to show up on my beard, so I better shave today ;-).
Also, need to identify the Mike circuit for ohms, load,
voltages/volume
needed to properly use this, and where to key/unkey the radio. (It is a
phono jack type microphone (Only two connection points on the outside).
