Hello Folks
I'm going to strictly vintage "Boat-anchor" receivers and am still slimming 
down my "heard" (pun intended)of SWL receivers.  I have a very nice, like 
new RadioShack DX-398 receiver.  This is the identical unit as the Sangean 
ATS-909 with the RadioShack logo. This is still a current model in the 
RadioShack lineup.

The set is unmodified, "like new" and includes the Leather pouch, manual, 
factory box, "Universal" AC wall wart and if you want it your choice of a 
1999, 2000 or 2001 "Passport to Worldband Radio" book (no you can't have my 
2002 issue).

Some Specifications:
1.  Tunes AM/SSB/CW from 153 kHz to 29.999MHz.
2.  FM Band (FM Stereo with headphones or External powered speakers).
3.  Has 2 IF bandwidths for the AM/SSB ranges.
4.  306 Memories, many pre-programmed with popular frequencies (which can 
be changed).
5.  USB/LSB switch and "REAL" knob tuning with 40Hz tuning steps for good 
SSB reception (Many digital sets tune in 1kHz steps).
6.  Inputs/outputs for antenna, earphone, tape recorder and tape recorder 
start/stop control.
7.  Local and "world" clock, back-lit dial, Alphanumeric labeling of 
memories and just "too many" features to list here.

Asking $135 for the entire package which includes insured shipping to the
