Revox A-77 1/4 track stereo reel to reel deck with the following 
accessories:

1.  Original Revox owners manual.
2.  Original Revox service manual.
3.  Complete set of plug in boards for service.
4.  Set of amplifier boards(installed) 10 watts per channel.
5.  3 10-1/2 inch plastic reels with good used tape.
6.  5 new, in box, never used 10-1/2 inch ampex empty reels.

This deck in in very good condition cosmetically and with the 
exception of the following, is in excellent mechanical/electrical 
condition.

1.  The left channel record circuit is out.  Thanks to a friend who 
dumped the output from a p.a. system speaker output directly into 
the mic input.  This is a relatively easy repair, simply remove the 
defective record amplifier board and plug in a new amp board 
(furnished with the set of boards described above).  This repair is 
covered in the service manual.

2.  The tape position counter belt is missing, and needs to be 
replaced.  Replacements can be purchased over the internet.

Playback on this deck is very good and record was the same until 
the board went south.

I will sell this outright to any interested party and am open to offers.  
However, would rather trade up/down for radio gear.  I am looking 
especially for an Icom 706, prefer the Mark IIG but would consider 
earlier models.
