[ForSale-Swap] Sort of off topic question about radios

Greetings,

This is slightly off topic, so please excuse the change in direction.

I am thinking about buying a CCRadio plus from C. Crane Radio.  I've heard
advertising that it is supposed to be one of the best AM receivers on the
market...but then too I heard that Enron was a wise investment!  My plan is
to purchase the radio for use at work - which is inside a mostly metal
building with plenty of stray RF from computers and VHF/UHF transmitters.

Anybody had experience with one of these radios?  I wish to hear both the
positive and negative aspects.  I guess that replies direct (instead of
over the list) may be preferred by other list members.
