WEll, have a nice set of kenwood twins...these are similar size to the Drake twins..the T-599A transmitter(later version with veriner knob) and R-599 matching receiver.  Those who are not familiar with them, the Receiver (R-599) is solid state, covers 160 - 10 meter ham bands and WWV, no WARC bands, 1 kc analog read out, has provisions for inside mounted 6 and 2 meter optional converters (not installed, build your own and install them)...receiver in very good condition both physically and electrically...use them as back up all the time.

The transmitter, T-599A, is the later version with the nicer vernier main dial, solid state except for driver (12BY7) and finals (pair 6146)...also built in fan on rear...this came standard...wish Heathkit did this...it operates 80 - 10 mter ham bands..

These radios are ALL MODE  USB/LSB/CW/AM/FM with selectable xtal filters ... 25 khz, 5 khz, 2.5 khz and 500 hz for CW...

The faces on both are beautiful extruded aluminum, not plastic or thin sheet metal...very thick...condition is very good, small scratch I beleive on one but definitely good to above average quality...thought Id offer to you guys before going to the epay... asking $250 for the pair...plus shipping from 45211 (Cincinnati)...will deliver or meet within reasonable distance....thanks for reading, sorry for the length..73  Tim  K8WBL
