Dave,

As an ardent builder of big amplifiers, I have also looked for a source of
Groth Turns Counters.

Here is the information I have discovered:

W9NZM, Robert H. Bauman of (near) Chicago, owns the molds and rights to the
Groth Counters. He is now quite elderly and unable to continue his one man
manufacturing operation. It is "rumored" that he was offered or offered to
sell the molds for $50,000 but the offer was not accepted.

There is NO other source of new counters of which I am aware and the
manufacturing cost to make new molds is prohibitively expensive for the
number
that woud be sold in the future.......you would not even be able to recover
the manufacturing costs.

Occasionally, Groth Turns Counters show up on eBay and others sources, but
they are expensive when compared to the original ~$20.00 new cost. I saw a
used turns counter go for almost $100.00 on eBay.

Good luck and good hunting.
