[ForSale-Swap] "Tune up meter" for the blind ham FS

I have a rather unusual item available.

It came from the estate of a blind ham, and took a while
to figure out. The front says that it is made by Wm. M.
Nye Co. (as in Nye Viking). The front has an on-off
switch, and a switch marked "Watts-SWR". There is
also a volume control. The back has a jack for the remote
sensor (which has about a 3 foot cord, and SO-239
connectors on each end), and a speaker, plus a slide
switch. The slide switch sets the power range.

When RF power flows thru the remote sensor, the speaker
produces a tone. The tone goes up in pitch as the power
goes up. Of course in the SWR position, you would want
a low tone.

So it really is not a wattmeter, even though it says "Watts",
but is an indicator of relative power in the forward and reverse
direction. It is powered by an internal 9 V battery.

This particular unit looks very nice, and works 100%, as best
I can determine. I really do not know what it is worth, but I
think $ 50 plus shipping from Florida would be reasonable.

Thanks.

Ken, W8EK
