[FLham] license plates and Leesburg event

Well, I got my plates and they are correct. They indeed state "Amateur 
Radio" at the bottom. Still, I feel that I was overcharged. $48 seems 
too high. Maybe because I was ordering a plate for a car I just bought. 
Anyway, I'm happy.

I attempted to attend the Leesburg swap meet. I followed my "Mapquest" 
directions right to the door of the clubhouse and the gate was locked!
I saw several other antenna laden cars in the area. I could hit the 
repeater easily but could not raise a soul. Ditto on 146.52.

Wow! I haven't operated 2M FM in years. It's a vast wasteland of what 
it once was. I actually had an 'eyeball' with Wayne Green just before 2 
FM became big. He (correctly) told me it was going to be big, and it 
was. He also predicted 'cell phones' would be a hit, but I didn't 
believe that one!!! ha ha
