Pete....
Not entirely accurate. The ARRL has just created a Web page for Northern
Florida and the other 70 Sections on the ARRL National website. The address
for the Northern Florida Section webpage is:
http://www.arrl.org/sections/index.html?sect=NFL
The latest edition of Section News along with contact information for NFL
Section officials is currently posted there.
A West Central Florida page is also available. It's addres is:
http://www.arrl.org/sections/index.html?sect=WCF
For complete West Central Florida Section information, got to:
http://www.wcfarrl.org

doesn't

> To All Northern Florida Section ARRL members;
>
> I received email from Sandy Donahue, W4RU, newly elected
> V-Director, which is summarized here. Upon reading it,
> may I suggest you write the SE Director, Frank Butler,
> W4RH, <[email protected]> and Sandy, SE V-Dir.<[email protected]>
> and express your thoughts and feelings. Remember the
> Section Mangers do not make policy, but the Board of
> Directors are ones responsible.
>
> Sandy stated in his email to me ...."In a conversation with
> Frank Butler, W4RH, he asked me to find out from the SMs
> here about an item that will be decided at the board meeting.
> I bring this up because I realize this has been a matter of
> discussion on the official and unofficial SM reflectors
> before I was booted off them. The matter of the section
> news column you all submit for publication in QST will be
> discussed. The Management and Finance committee has
> recommended that the section news column be moved from QST
> and put on the ARRL web site. With this and some other
> changes in the magazine, QST will be reduced from 176 to
> 160 pages in a move to cut costs in a soft advertising
> market...... The Board Meeting is in Dallas is Jan 18-19."
>
> There are a lot of hams which do not have the capability
> to connect with the web page. Please send your views to
