[Flexnet] Flexnet kernel with Dream DRM coexistence problem

G'day all,
I have recently found my interest in packet radio again, mainly for use
of telemetry reception from satellites. So I downloaded the Flexnet
software package for my XP PC and started to use it with good success.
The reason for my posting however is that I found out that when the
Flexnet kernel is running my Dream DRM program does not work anymore. Is
this a known problem or has it been reported before?
My setup: I am using my homebrew SDR receiver to receive a DRM
broadcast, the 12 kHz IF signal is fed into one soundcard and Dream is
decoding that signal.
My second soundcard is used for packet radio, I have my IC-910H
connected to it. My intention is to use Flexnet kernel with Paxon or
other program for TNC and packet radio. This is working either with
Flexnet or AGW packet, I don't have a problem with it.
But with Flexnet kernel running - Dream DRM decoding is not possible
anymore. There is no error or message, just that no DRM is decoded
anymore. When I shut down Flexnet everything is fine again and works as
it should. There is no problem when using AGW packet.
So I thought I'd write to find out if anyone else has experienced this
behaviour and if it is known to the developers. I would really like to
use Flexnet if possible, but it should not prevent me from using another
soundcard with another program.
Thanking all you guys who developed the Flexnet package and would
appreciate if you could look into this issue.
Best regards,
Helmut VK4STR
