Hi Edmond,
1. it enables you to connect thru a IP connection, ahome network for example
if you want to use packet on a second computer.
2. a good source for flexnet documentation is www.flexnet.info, or maybe
your local packet node sysop if he is using that, or just go to the config
menu and see what you can edit there (AXIP asks for IP adresses and ports,
not for devices, connection ports, baudrates, so you can guess it is not for
a kind of modem or something...)
