[FlexNet] MFJ-1270C problem with 6pack

John,

We still have a problem with our MFJ-1270C when using 6pack. This is
after making the modifications you suggested (remove U40 and jumper pins
1 & 16). This TNC has the 9600 baud radio modem in it. However, it
works very well with the stock MFJ EPROM and successfully connects at
1200 baud with local nodes.

Our FlexNet node SW works fine with another TNC (MFJ-1274). When we
swap to the MFJ-1270C TNC we get the following symptoms:
      - the STA & CON lights blink in unison at about once per second
after startup.
      - it seems not to communicate with Flexnet using the attached
BCT.bat terminal.

We assume this is not a Flexnet SW problem as we are simply swapping
between a TNC that works and one that doesn't.

Any suggestions? I wonder if there is some jumper in the 1270C that I
am missing. All jumper settings are per the MFJ manual.
