FlexNet32 has the KISS interface for you to use. Set up 2 channels, one
for KISS, the other for NEWQPSK (Q15X25), then use the MINI-DIGI feature
to let you come in on your KISS interface out RF using the soundcard.
I saw that website too, but the link to the KISS interface details
was broken. It don't matter to me anymore though, cause FlexNet32
has a KISS interface too for those that want to use it.

It should work fine.
*** I'm going to switch topics to HF now ***
I'm going to see if I can do some HF packet using the FlexNet32 and the
NEWQPSK driver. Nice thing about the ICOM-706MKIIG is that you can
literally
plug the soundcard directly into the dataport on the back of the radio.
All
you need to do is build a PTT circuit (which I have already for MFSK,
MT63,
and other modes that I've played with for the last while).
You know Charles, if you have HF capability, would you be interested in
trying a HF packet link using FlexNet32 and soundmodem NEWQPSK :-) As
long
as we watch that we don't exceed BW limits (I need to research that
still).
Perhaps on 80 meters some evening down the road ... I have a full size
80m
1/2 wave that *should* make it to your area if the conditions are
decent.
