[FlexNet] This 6PACK in a TNC2 is soooo cool ...

Greetings,

Well, since this list has been a bit quiet, what the heck, I
figure maybe maybe I'll share a moment of triumph. I finally
bought myself an EPROM burner, so I went and burned a couple
of 6PACK M27256 chips.

I put them in my MFJ1270B (9600 RF, 19.2k serial), and my PACCOM
TINY2 (1200 RF, 9600 serial), ran my standard flexnet configs with
the 6PACK.EXE driver, and it works like a charm. Very plug and play.

I used to run KISS eproms on the TNC's with the KISS.EXE drivers, and
although it did work fine (for me), one thing I have noticed already
with the 6PACK is that the response time is a bit quicker (when I have
data to send, it's sent *immediately*, not waiting *a while* before it
keys the TNC (like with the KISS interface). I'm consistently getting
better performance now.

Also, having more of the TNC led's active (6PACK directly controls the
TNC lights on the front) lites up the shack a bit better :-)
