2006 FLORIDA GOVERNOR'S HURRICANE CONFERENCE

The 20th Annual Florida Governor's Hurricane Conference (FLGHC) will be 
held from Monday May 8 until Friday May 12, 2006 at the Greater Fort 
Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center located at 1950 Eisenhower 
Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316.

The T-SI 4  --- Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Services (RACES) training 
session will be held during the hurricane conference on Wednesday May 10, 
2006 from 8:30 AM until 12:00 PM.

This session is designed to provide emergency management personnel with an 
overview of the myriad of volunteer, local, state and federal 
backup/auxiliary communications systems available during disaster response 
and recovery.

Admission is free and you do not have to be registered for the hurricane 
conference to attend this amateur radio forum. All amateur radio operators 
are encouraged to attend this informative communications forum.

Government-issued photo ID is required for access to the Greater Fort 
Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center, as it is located within the 
security perimeter of Port Everglades.
