[FLARES] Polk County, FL Condition "Yellow"

Attention ALL AMATEUR RADIO OPERATORS

Polk County ARES will activate to  "condition YELLOW" at 6:00 AM Local
Time
On Thursday, September 2nd, 2004 in response to Hurricane Frances.

Local Shelters will open on Friday, September 3rd at 3:00 PM Local Time.

ARES will conduct an "Information NET" on 146.985 (PL 127.3) located in
Bartow, FL.

The NET will be conducted at the top of every hour starting at 12:00 PM
Sept 2nd.

The purpose of this NET is to announce the latest information pertaining
to Emergency Communications for Polk County

All radio operators are encouraged to take part in this NET at the top
of every hour.
