[FLARES] 3 SFAN Sessions This Week

There will be three sessions of the Southern FL ARES net this week.
Thursday evening at 8:30 PM there will be a regular session of our 2 Meter
SSB net on 144.210 MHz. USB with KT4XK as Net Control.

The regular session of our HF net will be held on Saturday morning at 8:00
AM on 3940 KHz. with N3HN as Net Control.

There will be a special session of the 2 Meter SSB net on Saturday night at
8:30 PM on 144.210 MHz. as part of the Martin County ARES SET.  KT4XK as Net
Control.  I will be with the Martin County ARES team at Phipps park during
this session.

I encourage all SFL ARES members, especially those with Technician licenses,
to participate in this net.  It is the only section net above 30 MHz.
During an emergency your participation as a practiced operator on this net
could be invaluable.  We not only need you to be part of the net but also as
a Net Control or traffic handler.  There are certain counties in our section
that have very few trained traffic handlers.  This work will be essential
during an emergency.
