FW: [FLARES] Local ARES groups formal structure issues

Keith,

I for one have chosen not to make this an issue in Martin County. The
emphasis here is on team building and anything that I anticipate as a
divisive force is minimized to the maximum extent possible. I do not care
whether or not the member lives here in Martin County or just participates
in our activities, drills, and activations. The emphasis is on serving the
public during manmade and natural disasters. We expect to send our CAT team
when it is needed elsewhere and expect other CAT teams to bail us out in our
time of need.

In short, don't build a fence, build a team.
