**ECOMM MESSAGE**
Indian River County ACS is at Level One Alert as of 13:30 hours Thursday,
August 14, 2003.
Level One Alert: No Direct Threat At This TimeContinue Monitoring
EVENT INFORMATION:
** RELEASE INFORMATION FROM IRCEOC**
The severe cells associated with the tropical system have now moved away
from Indian River County. All of the severe weather has moved north and
northwest of Indian River County. This will continue to be the general
movement of thunderstorm cells. For Indian River County, the tropical wave
has now moved far enough to the west to end most of the thunderstorm cells
along the east coast. We will continue to receive scattered rain showers
the remainder of the day with only a slight possibility of any severe cells
developing. We are right around the 5 inch area for the amount of rainfall
with this system. Water on streets should now have time to drain off and
any street flooding should be over soon. Emergency Management is not aware
of any street closings.
This will be the last update on this tropical system unless forecast
projections change.
