Enforcement Board met Tuesday night and ruled that Steve K5MIF's tower 
did not constitute a violation.   It was obvious from the city's 
presentation that as soon as antennas were put on the "structure" it 
would become a "communications tower" and would be cited for being in 
non-compliance.  The city's position is that  all amateur towers have to 
go through the  conditional use  permitting  hoops-  3 to 10  thousand  
dollars  at the cheapest.   Make sure you  tell any amateur  thinking 
about  buying on Marco  to  add this  to the already  inflated  real 
estate prices.  Don't call it  "Mark  Up Island" for nothing.
