Repeater owners and users:
The Florida Repeater Council is the recognized coordination
agency for amateur repeaters in the state. Each year, we
supply information to the ARRL for their annual Repeater
Directory and Travel Plus CD-ROM. This data can only be
accurate if the repeater owners keep us up-to-date. With
a current database, we can perform repeater coordination
more accurately. Therefore, we require a status report
from each repeater owner every two years in order to
maintain coordination. For those owners who do not comply,
we omit their repeater from the submission to the ARRL,
causing that repeater not to appear in subsequent repeater
directories and CD-ROMs. You can help. Please visit our
web page. There is a link on the front page to a listing
of repeaters whose trustee has failed to keep us up-to-date,
and will be omitted from future directories. If any of
these repeaters are familiar to you and are known to be in-
service, please urge the trustee to submit the necessary
update by January 15, 2003. Updates can be submitted
on-line via our web site. Here is the direct link:

Here is the link http://florida-repeaters.org/rptromit01.pdf
to access the list of repeaters that WILL NOT BE INCLUDED
in the next report to the ARRL for their 2003-2004 ARRL
Repeater Directory and Travel Plus CD (due out Spring 2003).
