The Martin County EOC is now in remodeling. The county is moving walls and
making other improvements to the building. The impact to our ARES/RACES
communications readiness is substantial. Fortunately, this is only a
temporary inconvenience and we will soon be operating from a better location
within the EOC and will be networked to the Emergency Support Functions via
a network terminal.

As for now we only have our VHF and UHF repeaters remaining on the air. The
HF station is down. The UHF packet station is down. The VHF and UHF general
purpose FM stations are down. We do have workarounds and other contingency
plans in place to handle emergencies but it will take more effort than just
showing up and sitting down.

If you need to make contact with the Martin County EOC via radio, please
contact our VHF and UHF repeaters.

If we have an emergency in our county and you would like to monitor the
traffic or lend assistance (as necessary) remember to use those frequencies.
