[Fists] AC5SH returning to regular membership

Hello All



Let me get right to the point.



I have been with Fists since 1997 and the great principles of this club,
along with its upholding the traditional spirit of Ham Radio, have been the
chief joy of my radio experience. I gradually took on more and more
responsibilities as the years went by, and loved it, including my time on
the board, at Hamvention, and recently as President.



Unfortunately, nobody really knew the heavy load Nancy (WZ8C-SK) bore until
she suddenly died and we all had to step up. The job of filling Nancy's
shoes first fell to Karl, KB1DSB, then to Dennis, K6DF. They did a great
job. When Dennis left the position as of January 2017, I found myself unable
to resist putting my hands on the wheel. The board made me President.



Folks, I have done my best but with my very demanding day job, I have of
late been unable to adequately service the many volunteer duties which have
fallen to me at Fists. There is a point where one must step aside and let
others with more energy take over. This is that point, and sadly, I am done.



I must now relinquish all of my roles at the club and return to being just a
regular member.



The board is right now working on replacing me and announcements will soon
follow.



I'm sorry folks, but this is the point where I just can't anymore. Please
step up and volunteer via the contact list at FistsNA.org , so the club can
go on.
