Veterans Appreciation Operating Event  

Date & Time: Nov 10, 11, and Nov 12, 2014 

Bands:  All bands and around FISTS recognized calling frequencies.  QSY, as
appropriate and necessary.

Time: 0001 UTC Nov 10th to 2400 UTC Nov 12 

Exchange: RST, Call, Name, FISTS Nr., Branch of Military Service 

QSL'ing:  QSL via our FISTS QSL Buro, if your contacts use the Buro.  (7
cards for one first class stamp)


Fists CW Club, NA Chapter, will be conducting a Veterans Appreciation
Operating Event commencing at 0001 November 10, 2014 to 2400, November 12,
2014. 

This three day event is not a contest so feel free to "chew the rag" but as
a minimum we ask that you include at least the following information: Signal
Report, Call, Name, FISTS Number, and Branch of Military Service, if
applicable. 

Please note that these contacts will be eligible for the Fists Military
Award <http://fistsna.org/awards.html#Military> . To apply for this FISTS CW
Club award, please follow the instructions on the website awards page for
the Military Award submission. If you are not working toward earning your
FISTS USA Military Appreciation Award, it is not necessary to submit your
log. 

While this is an event of the NA FISTS Chapter, all FISTS are welcome to
take part.
