North American CW Weekend - May 7-9

We are pleased to announce the 2011 North American CW Weekend, which will be held May 7-9 at the Fairview Park Marriott Hotel near Washington, DC, our nation's capital.  .   This will be the 39th Annual North American CW Weekend, the 22nd such event in the Washington, DC area.  Those attending will include members of various CW groups, ham clubs generally, friends and guests.  We anticipate a large turnout and hope you will be there to join in the fun!  

There will be a variety of gathering and scheduled events, culminating in the gala buffet dinner on Saturday, May 7th.  Washington, DC abounds in excellent museums, stirring monuments, amazing shopping centers, beautiful parks, and historical sites.  The typically gorgeous weather of early May helps make a visit to Washington, DC an ideal destination after a long winter.  Meet up with old friends and meet new ones, but do plan on coming this year!  

The room rate at the upscale Fairview Park Marriott is $84 per night, which is a bargain for this metropolitan area.  This special rate will be honored from May 5th until May 9th so you can extend your stay to take in the sites.  The gourmet dinner is $69 per person, with registration online requested.  There are three nearby airports, a fantastic Metro transit system and plenty of highways, so getting here is easy.
