Greetings from Nonthaburi nr Bangkok!

My operating is limited to an hour at the club station HS0AC a week. QTH is
a condo at www.pgp.co.th and zig-zaging a wire across the room and out to
the balcony does not cut it. The borrowed FT-757 GX receives the BBC on
6.195 mhz, but Alas, I have yet to hear a CW QSO on 20 m.

Hope to sort out the ant issue ( a DCTL homebrew ant seems to be the best
low cost solution), with the help of a LDG Z 11 Pro II autotuner ordered a
few hours ago.

Then there is the borrowed paddle - absolutely unusable at even 5 wpm! Hint:
the finger pieces have movement of their own. But we all know the real issue
is what's between this op's ears hi hi.

Hope to find a Code Buddy in SE Asia as Nick K3NY regrets not having one due
to my location being too far East.

Wishing you all meaningful QSOs and please remember that lack of courtesy is
often not intended. It gets as bad as forgetting to send 73s as often yours
truly stops copying for long periods of time. Low speed and no Farnsworth
leads to the dreaded and automatic c o u n t i n g.

G4FON's software won't allow Farnsworth for the 3 QSO files with 300 QSOs
per file :-(

Closing, I have heartfelt regrets about missing out the event of the year -
last weekend's contest!

73 de Chris HS0ZFE, kF6VCI, MI1ESG
