[Fists] Postage Increase

Fellow FISTS Members:

Effective last Monday, May 11 the postage rates were increased.

All mailings now require 44 cents postage for one ounce - 6-7 cards 
and 61 cents postage for two ounces and 78 cents postage for three 
ounces.

We will use one, two, three, four and five cent stamps from our stamp 
kitty to add postage as needed to existing SASE's.

The "Forever" stamp will NEVER require any additional postage, so we 
suggest you put them on new SASE's you send to the Bureau.

Generally the number of QSL cards which can be sent by weight are:

	Ounce           Cards
	    1                  7
	    2                 15
	    3                 23

For FISTS Members outside of the U.S. the new First-Class Mail International 
Rates for Letters have four categories:

     2             1.00           1.34         1.82       1.76  
     3             1.25           1.89         2.66       2.54 
  
We have to determine what "Price Group" applies for the country we are sending the 
envelope to.  Nearly all countries on this side of the Atlantic fall in the "6-9" group.
