John Shannon, K3WWP, my son Ethan, W3IRS, and I will operate N3AQC (NAQCC and FISTS Club Sation) as a special event station on Aug. 13 from the USS Requin (Submarine) which is drydocked in the Alleghney River in Pittsburgh Pa. Our times of operation will be roughly from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. ( + or - a few minutes) EST (1400 to 1800 Zulu). A special QSL card will be sent to all contacts. Operation will be on 20 and 40 meters only in the CW portion of the bands or course. That's Aug. 13 -- and yes, "13" is a lucky number for anyone wanting a nicew QSL card (with the club's FISTS No. of course).
