[Fists] QSY'ing away from a calling freq.

When I'm sitting around the shack or at the work bench I'll turn on
one of the .058's and listen.
Sometimes it's several hours and don't hear a thing. But sometimes I
get lucky and I might hear a CQ that sounds interesting and someone
I'd like to talk to.
Or I might hear a CQ and an answer and listen to both sides of a very
interesting QSO.
If they moved frequency to 'keep the .058' clear, I would maybe have missed out!

Or ..... If I want to call CQ on one of the .058s and it's busy, I'll
move up or down a half a kc or so and call CQ. That has resulted in
some nice FISTS (and non-FISTS) QSOs.

If you don't want to listen to the QSO on .058, move your dial up or
down a little for a half hour or so - at least you will know your
tuning knob works!!!
