 About %$ years ago I switched from a sideswiper to a bug. Didn't like the
bug much so went back to the swiper. Switching to a paddle was almost
impossible for a long time. I practiced a lot until I could competantly
use it. The side to side swing of a swiper was very hard for me to
overcome. I used a straight key in the meantime. I do not use "pinch"
keying, and see no benefit to be gained by learning it. If that's how you
send however, great. I'm glad somebody can do it. I use a Kent paddle
cranked pretty tight on the gaps, and it works almost at a touch.
However, I have found that I can no longer use a swiper. Just keep at it.
